information on the collection of personal data
Visit the website
In the case of purely informational use of the website, i.e. if you do not transmit any information to us, we only collect the data that your browser transmits to the web server. These are the IP address, the date and time of access, the requested website (request), a status code-based message as to whether the access was successful, the amount of data transferred, the website from which you accessed our website or from which the request came (referer) and information about the browser and the operating system of the accessing device (user agent).
The legal basis for the processing of the data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO (legitimate interest). On the part of Joulmine, there is a legitimate interest in being able to guarantee the sustainable operation of the Joulmine website. Without the processing of this data, the use of the website is not possible.
Technical use of this data on the web server is limited in time for the duration of your use of the website.
SSL or TLS encryption (HTTPS)
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content that you send to us as the site operator, our website uses SSL or TLS encryption. This means that data you transmit via this website cannot be read by third parties. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “https://” address line of your browser and the lock symbol in the browser line.
Data transmitted via the contact form, including your contact details, are stored in order to be able to process your enquiry or to be available for follow-up questions. This data will not be passed on without your consent.
The data entered in the contact form is processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You may revoke your consent at any time. An informal communication by e-mail is sufficient for the revocation. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
Data transmitted via the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it or there is no longer any need to store the data. Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

As a user of our website, you can subscribe to comments after registering. With a confirmation e-mail, we check whether you are the owner of the e-mail address provided. You can unsubscribe from the comment subscription function at any time via a link in a subscription e-mail. Data entered to set up the subscription will be deleted in the event of unsubscription. If this data has been transmitted to us for other purposes and elsewhere, it will still remain with us.
Newsletter data
To send our newsletter, we need an e-mail address from you. Verification of the e-mail address provided is necessary and you must consent to receiving the newsletter. Additional data is not collected or is voluntary. The data is used exclusively for sending the newsletter.
The data provided when registering for the newsletter will be processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). A revocation of your already given consent is possible at any time. For the revocation, an informal message by e-mail or you unsubscribe via the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.
Data entered to set up the subscription will be deleted in the event of unsubscription. If this data has been transmitted to us for other purposes and elsewhere, it will remain with us.
Contact form/contact us
When you contact us via the contact form or by direct e-mail, the data you provide (e.g. surname, first name, company, e-mail address and content of the message) is transmitted to us and stored by us. Contacting us is expressly on a voluntary basis. Failure to provide this information has no effect on you.
The data is processed exclusively for the purpose of answering your questions or processing your request. The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO (legitimate interest). On the part of Joulmine, there is a legitimate interest to process the request of the data subject from the contact for a specific purpose.
For the purpose of the targeted processing of the requests, the information transmitted via the website may be forwarded to the responsible offices and departments within the Joulmine company on the basis of Art. 28 DSGVO (commissioned processing) or Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f, Recital 48 DSGVO (legitimate interest).
We will only store your personal data for as long as is necessary for the intended purposes or as required by law.

cookies
So-called cookies are used in some cases. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser, provided that the acceptance of cookies is activated in your browser.

If you have opted for the “Analysis” option in the cookie selection when you call up the website or confirm this by selecting “Accept all and continue” or “Continue with analysis”, we use Google Analytics on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. a DSGVO in order to optimally tailor our content to the needs of our visitors. The following cookies are used for this purpose:

You can adjust your cookie selection via the following button “Change cookie settings” and thus revoke any consent you may have given for the use of Google Analytics at any time with effect for the future by selecting the option “Only use required cookies” and confirming this by selecting “Continue with required cookies”.

use of Google Analytics
Insofar as you have given your consent, we use Google Analytics to optimally tailor the content of the website to the needs of our visitors. The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DSGVO (consent).
Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Google Analytics uses the above-mentioned cookies, which are stored on your computer and which enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookies about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, by activating IP anonymisation on this website, Google will truncate your IP address beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. In order to implement the anonymisation of IP addresses (so-called IP masking) via our website, the extension of Google Analytics by the code “gaTracker(‘set’, ‘anonymizeIp’, true)” has been carried out. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.
The data processing is essentially carried out by Google. The transmitted information is used by Google to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide us with other services related to website and internet usage. Google will further use the collected data for profiling purposes and will link this data to other data of the user such as search history, personal accounts, usage data of other devices and any other data Google has about this user.
We cannot rule out the possibility that data may be passed on to Google contract partners or transferred to Google servers in the USA.
In the case of processing taking place in the USA, there is a risk that an adequate level of protection for the processing of personal data that meets the EU standards of the GDPR cannot be consistently ensured. Furthermore, it cannot be ruled out that personal data processed by the service provider may be accessed by US government agencies due to laws applicable in the USA.
The data transferred to Google is automatically deleted after 14 months. The deletion of data whose retention period has been reached takes place automatically once a month.
You can revoke your consent to the use of Google Analytics at any time by clicking on the following button “Change cookie settings” with effect for the future by selecting the option “Only use required cookies” and confirming this by selecting “Continue with required cookies”.
